Boys names:Rowdy,Duke,King,Fletcher,Gale,Rover,Skamp,Harvey,Ike,Ink/Inky,Isidore,Jack
Jasper,Jynx,Zavier,Zeke
Girls names:Elli,Zinny,Emma,Cat,Fern,Ginger,Gypsy,Hira,Hollis/Holly,Iris,Ivy,Joy,Zav-
iera,Zara
Those were possible names for dogs that I found in a name book, now, here are notes and tips on the care of dogs:
What to look For;
Q;Can dogs get serious allergic reactions?
A;Yes. The simtons of this are red rash on the belly, and your dog will be licking and scratching constantly. This might be because of a cleaning product,outdoor pesticides, or even flea and tick repellents. You can treat this by washing everything, (including your dog) and try using a different product.
Q;Can dogs lose hair?
A; Yes. Dogs lose hair because of a gland disease like Cushing's disease and pseudo Cushing's disease. The disease makes dogs have muscle wasting, weakness, and of coarse, hair loss. Test your dog for Cushing's, and have him treated immediately.
How to care for pregnant dogs, or puppies;
Pregnant dogs;
Your dog will be pregnant for 2 months and 4 days. During that time, about 2 weeks in, you will see the belly/womb getting larger, and the nipples will also. Your dog will need fresh water and food every day.During the prosess of the birth, be near your dogs side overlooking. If your not sure of anything, you should probably pick up the phone and dial the vets office looking for help.
After the birth let the dog rest. She will be tired after giving birth. Don't even try touching the puppies because the mother will be protective and the newborns need their time to suckle. Another reason not to touch the puppies too soon is because you might give germs to him/her and the simplest cold can be fatal.
When the mother is with her pups, have the food and water dish close by so that the mother won't have to go far, and so her little ones aren't left alone. While the puppies are still young, try letting your town/city know that puppies are for sale, or that your giving them away: put up fliers, put an add in the newspaper, or get your voice on the radio.
Taking care of your new puppy:
If your getting a puppy from your own litter, or even the pound, it's still the same, puppies take a lot of work. For instance, you must be careful with wires, personal items, toilet paper, homework,etc. They can unfortunately destroy anything-so before you get your puppy, you have to have everything prepared, no lose wires, no valuable toys. Puppies need their own space, complete with newspaper and a bed. Puppies should have at least 3 toys, then buy new ones after they use-up the old one. To train your puppy, you have to start out easy. The younger you train him/her, the easier it will be later.
You can start with sit, then come, stay, and so forth. Different tricks are harder than others, for instance-beg is difficult because the dogs have to stand on their hind legs, when sit is easy. This is the end of my post. Hope you enjoyed information on the dog/puppy.
